A very quick run-through to add Twitter’s own Follow Button to your WordPress sidebar.
Go to http://twitter.com/about/resources/followbutton
Add your Twitter username, select the light or dark background and whether your want to include your follower count or not and you are then provided with the code needed to add to your sidebar widget. Copy this – Ctrl C or Right-click and copy.
So go to your Dashboard, Appearance, Widgets
Pull across a Text widget and paste the code into the main part of your widget. Save and Close, then place the widget where you want to to be and there you go.
