Just a quick post on our favourite spam filter plugin for our WordPress sites – the Antispam Bee. Experience so far has proved uneventful – indeed once it is set up we’re rarely bothered with any spam or have to even think about it – this plugin just gets on with the job.
To set up the Antispam Bee:
Go to Plugins, Add New and search for “antispam bee” – install and activate. You can review the Settings within Settings, Antispam Bee – take a look and chose any that suit you best.
You’ll see mention of Project Honeypot which works to stop spam and you can have your spam help with this – take a look at the site and get a free API if you want to join the global band of spam warriors 😉 All you have to do with that API key is add it to your settings – that’s it.
