A Blogmistress Round-Up

July 3, 2011 by Babs Leave a Comment

It’s an exciting time with client launches and a few of our own too, so this post is a bit of an update on what we’ve been up to this past week or so…

There is such a flurry lately with customer launches and a few ideas of our own as we develop ways to support you with WordPress – perhaps it’s the summer that has arrived at last.

Yesterday we completed the new website for VW Campervan hire Dylan’s Travels, ready for some great PR on its way for him and his owner, Mary. This is one way a premium theme (this one is Going Green from StudioPress) can be moulded to better suit the business – this certainly suits Dylan and it was great fun working on the website for him. What do you think?

We’ll update on a few other clients next week as several are doing brilliantly with their new WordPress blogs and sites.

With so many of you wanting to get stuck in and build your own websites we’ve put together a 10 day online WordPress training workshop that takes you through each aspect of creating a website and blog with WordPress with daily webinars. That course starts on Monday 18th July with the first webinar at noon BST. The online workshops are recorded so you can take it at your own pace and you won’t miss out on any of the support or the chance to ask questions. Take a look if you’re interested or know someone who wants to play work with WordPress.

The free fortnightly “Ask the Blogmistress” webinars start this month too, open to everyone and totally free, you get to ask me about whatever your want to do with your WordPress and I’ll do my best to answer, showing you online there and then if possible.  You’ll see the registration for the first one here very soon with a button in the sidebar.

And we’re going to tweak the tag line yet again – how does “The Blogmistress for No Stress WordPress” sound to you? We’re chatting about it over on the Facebook group if you have a view – all welcome 🙂

We’re also welcoming some regular guest posts from experts in their field and from some who we’re proud to have helped master WordPress. So we’re definitely back to regular blog posts now; a wonderfully busy summer afoot…

What are you up to this month?
